In the market for a new stroller
So with the arrival of my second son, I'm once again looking for another stroller! I've gotten the sit and stand "bus of a stroller" for when it's necessary for my 3 year old to ride.
I've managed to sell my lightweight stroller on craigslist, and also selling a full size stroller. But then of course I have my running stroller that I have to keep! But my husband says I have way too many strollers! So I really want one good stroller that can concor malls, parks, etc.
I want something that will fully recline for now, but also one that will accomadate a toddler for when he's older. I like the Graco Quatro i think it's called, but I'd love to hear more from others!

thanks for the advise! It's such a hard decision! I would love to eliminate the need for 4 strollers for different outings!

What do you like about Graco stroller? I see sooooo many people with them, but cannot see many features I would expect a stroller to have in order to be functional, comfortable (for both parents and baby), easy to maneuver, light, etc. Whoever designed this stroller did not think (in my personal view) of either parents or the baby.
I am a Bugaboo fan You can buy a buggy-board to go with it - it hooks on to the stroller, so your toddler can ride it too (standing).

the Graco stroller will fit my infant seat for now...and for people like me who buy new strollers every 6 months, the price isn't bad!
I've had a Bumble Ride stroller as well, and was really disappointed with the quality for what I paid for it!
Does anyone know of a store which carries the more luxury strollers to test out?

When my son was born I actually did not need a double stroller, used my old single stroller for my daughter ( 2 y.o. then) and carried my son in a sling or ergo carrier. Now, that he is 11 months old I do feel that I need a double stroller and decided to get Phil & Teds. I think it is the best, it is very compact and yet full size stroller. Also, I like the option of removing the second seat if needed, because my now almost 3 y.o. daughter does not ride in the stroller much. Before the baby was born I was against tandem strollers, but now that I actually use side by side umbrella stroller I appreciate the idea of tandem. In side by side my kids constantly fight that's why I chose tandem PT, and not their side by side version.
I'm supposed to get my stroller today, cannot wait

Re: In the market for a new stroller
no, i've never heard of that store...i'm going to scope out some of the boutiques in my area to see what strollers they carry. I've never really paid attention when going into the boutiques for strollers, it's mainly for gifts or clothes!

Re: In the market for a new stroller
We recently got a Jeep Double umbrella stroller, its great, very compact, easy to fold up and transport. It wasn't very expensive either, compared to other double strollers.

Re: In the market for a new stroller
I just got a new stroller, it's a lightweight Jeep All Weather stroller that's in the top row of this page and I'm amazed at how far this type has advanced since I used one for my first daughter.
The first umbrella (are they still called that?) that I had literally fell to pieces after only a couple of trips to the store. It was a cheapie, but I stilled expected much more out of it than that. After that experience, I made up my mind to get a really good one so that both DH and I could take the baby jogging. We got a BOB and you can't beat it for running. I kind of wished I had held out for the swivel wheel, but this one is fantastic enough without it. It collapses like a dream, but it just doesn't maneuver in tight spaces very well.
So I found myself in need of a stroller that was more suitable for shopping in stores and came up with this cutie. If you look at the page, there is a similar one by ibaby for around $15 more but it didn't look as sturdy as the Jeep to me.
